Tuscora SHRM Mission Statement

    Tuscora SHRM Mission Statement:

     

    The Tuscora Chapter of SHRM’s mission is to provide the following to our members and community:

    ►Promote the networking and education of local HR professionals by conducting monthly meetings reviewing legal trends and HR practices, while ensuring topics are current and relevant to the HR practice.

    ►Provide encouragement for members to become involved in Tuscora Chapter leadership opportunities and assist in increasing the membership within our chapter through referrals, allowing the continued growth within our Chapter.

    ►Partner with area agencies and programs to provide educational information regarding HR practices and continued development of Tuscora SHRM as a resource for the community.

    We were formed in around 1990’s as the Tuscarawas Personnel Association TCPA and registered for affiliation with Society of Human Resource Managers in around 2000. Since that time we have served HR professionals’ by providing the most current and comprehensive resources, and to advance the professional by promoting HR’s essential and, strategic role. We represent over 65 individual members in 4 counties in and around the Tuscarawas county area.
