    T4C Share A Christmas Golf Outing

     Fellow Tuscora Chapter SHRM Members,

    For the past sixteen years, Marlite has held the Share-A-Christmas Golf Outing.  The event generates funds for the T4C’s Share-A-Christmas program, which assists underprivileged families of Tuscarawas County (OH) during the holiday season.  Since its inception in 1995, the golf outing has produced over $150,000 used for food, clothing, toys and financial aid for needy families.  With the continued poor economic conditions everywhere but especially in the state of Ohio, the number of qualifying families for Share-A-Christmas aid is expected to increase substantially again this year.  Marlite is motivated to make this our most successful event ever.

     With this in mind, in addition to the contributions of our company and its vendors, Marlite is deploying the strength in numbers approach by appealing to a large number of community members and friends and asking them to make a small cash donation.  With the staggering economy impacting us all, we recognize that charitable contributions can be especially difficult this year.  But please note that your tax deductable gift will go a long way in assisting a growing number of families this holiday season.  Please select a contribution level and send your gift (no gift is too small) by August 15th to the following address:

    This year’s 4-Person Scramble will be held at the Willandale Golf Course, in Sugarcreek, on Saturday August 27th , with a shotgun start at 8:30am.  Hotdogs and burgers will be provided.
